Our team
We met in 2022, and it instantly became clear that we are on a similar mission. Overcome fear and embrace healing of the whole self!
Both of us as individuals have experienced much in our short lives that has shown even the darkest nights can turn into day.
Our stories can be tough for some to read, but are great testaments to the power of transformation.
We stand with you. May we all heal as we keep going on the path up the mountain.
Aranyani Devakula
Aranyani began Adara Collective in California during 2020, returning to her roots of herbal medicine in which she was raised by her parents. Prior to 2020, Aranyani spent a decade in nonprofit management, fundraising and building community programs that supported marginalized communities in Monterey County, CA. Aranyani’s “catalyst moment” was the year of 2018, after losing her mother, her younger brother and their family home in a string of tragedies that hurt their family deeply. Her experiences also afforded her direct experience in healing from trauma. It was during this tough time that Aranyani began to focus back upon meditation and the herbal remedies her mother had taught her, receiving treasured inner guidance along the way. As it all began to click, she left her fundraising career to help people overcome fear, trauma, and tragedy to find the gold inside each experience through Reiki, Herbal remedies and sound.
Aranyani is a certified Reiki Master and a certified sound healer through the Life Changing Energy Program.

David Evans Devakula
David is a RYT 200, Reiki Master, Taoist practitioner, and quite a jazzy fella. David has a deep well of empathy to offer anyone seeking his service. This well of empathy did not come easy, as his life path has provided many turns to get where he is at now:
David came from a childhood with alcoholic parents, as a teenager he had high anxiety and depression, as well and struggling with agoraphobia 3 different times in his life.
David’s mother died when he was 20, and not half a year after that, his sister falsely accused him of rape. He was interrogated for hours; then being an innocent and nervous kid and feeling like he had no other option, he told the police what they wanted to hear and took a plea deal instead of going to trial. It has been a decision that has followed him for a decade. However, it also generated the opportunity of creating compassion for those in the system and beyond.
Through this incident, David became the person he is today. He is someone who knows what it is like to be powerless, he really connects with people who are walking through the fire. It is a unique perspective, which started him on his healing quest.
Taoism has been his sanctuary in a situation that tears away the ego.
If you are really going through a tough time, David is the guy to talk to. His story is not over, as he is still working on his case and supporting others through yoga & sound healing along the way.
